Punjab CM Bikes E-Balloting 11 May 2024
As decided and announced by the Punjab government, the Punjab Bike Scheme 2024 balloting will be held on 11 May 2024. The minister of transportation expressed satisfaction with the enthusiasm of the students.
In addition, the government received more applications from female students than from male students. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister recently announced the launch of a free motorbike program for girls.
Updates on the Punjab Bikes E-Balloting 2024
CM Bilal Akbar Khan, the provincial minister of transportation, distributed motorcycles through e-balloting. Participants praised the program, which is part of the CM’s Youth Initiative.
As part of the second phase of the program, Bilal Akbar Khan revealed plans to increase the number of e-bikes and emphasize the program’s cultural influence.
A large number of young people spontaneously joined the Punjab Motorcycle Scheme and applied for the 20,000 bikes.

What is meant by Post-Balloting Scrutiny
Following the completion of the e-balloting, the BOP will examine the Guarantor/Co-Borrower’s finances. At this post-balloting examination, the BOP may request additional documentation. Only those pupils whose post-balloting scrutiny by the BOP proves to be satisfactory will ultimately be certified successful and receive bikes. Applicants must provide the necessary documentation along with their online application in order to be considered successful.

Registrations for the Punjab Motor Cycle Scheme in 2024
In the Punjab Bike Scheme, registrations closed on 29th April, so it is no longer open. However, applications are still being accepted by the government. Hopefully, the registrations for motorcycles will be announced soon.
CM Bikes are only available to those who truly need a workable transportation solution.

Installments and down payments for motorcycles for students
For male students enrolled in the Punjab Motor Cycle scheme, the monthly installment is Rs 11,676, and for female students, the monthly installment is Rs 7,325. In order to be eligible for the scheme, a down payment of Rs 25,000 is required. In the first phase, the distribution will be determined by population density; Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, and Multan will be the primary targets.

Bank of Punjab (BOP) will provide an installment plan to each accepted candidate. If they wish to pay off the loan sooner, they may do so after speaking with the bank.
Payment/installment plans cover the cost of the bike’s insurance, but not the registration fee.
